"INVALID DATABASE"  Error?
1. Re-Download. Keep this in mind - sometimes a download is incomplete or corrupted by the transfer process and when you run it, you get an 'invalid database' error.

2. The  solution? Download again
- until you get a full set.
VISTA users - if you get this download error, Vista is blocking you. Vista by default is set to block almost everything, because you are not installing as 'administrator.'

The Vista Solution is to right-click on the USE3 Plus install programs, and select ' Install as Administrator.'

Then disable the User Acconts.

Go to Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Turn On / Off User Accounts.
INVALID DATABASE?
"UNINSTALL NOTICE" ?
UPDATE 'ERASE'?
UPDATE 'DUPLICATE APPLICATIONS'?

If you are updating or just trying to install the second time [or accidentally got confused and thought you were installing Part II but it as really Part I again], you will get an uninstall notice, Youare forced to unistall. That is OK. It will first uninstall, then re-install autoomatically. Most of the time... Usually, that is all - you will have a new icon and the program will run.

HOWEVER not all Windows computers are equal here!
On some computers, all this program is allowed to do is uninstall. You will be left with no icon or one that says it can not find the program.
If you have this problem, the ssolution is simple: re-install again. Yes, you  have to run this same install program AGAIN to get ii to re-install.
Remember, you may not have this problm at all! Test it first.
Why this unpredictability in re-install? Ask Microsoft - it has sommething to do with Administator rights on your computer - it is not something we can fix.
The solution? Install again - until you get a full set.
VISTA = Administrator Install
VISTA = Disable ALL User Accounts
After downloading, Run the install file. A Password Window will open. Be sure to get the correct password - all small letters - no spaces.
IF A PASSWORD IS  REQUIRED:
VISTA INSTALLS
UPDATE 'ERASE'?
UPDATE 'DUPLICATE'?
UNINSTALL FIRST!
Generally users of XP have no problems during installation.
Vista installs easily on most computers as well, as long as you are installing in administrator mode and disable UAC.
Installing updates in Vista may requiring unistalling the earlier download before the installing a new update.

Fresh Install or Upgrade Install?
A Fresh Install places a completely new program, or version of the program, in a new Program File.
[ If you are a previous user with software from 2008 or middle of  2009, you may have earlier versions, in different Program File folders. They are NOT affected].
For example, the first time you install the Third Generation software, it makes a new folder - C':Program Files/J&J USE3 Plus - and places those programs into the folder. There is no overwriting of files from an earlier version.
However, the next time you download a revised Third Generation update, be sure to first Archieve the data.mdb file - explained in the manual. Then uninstall the current version. Next install the new version. Once again use Archieve to re-insert your old data.
NOTE: If you do not care about old data files, skip Archiving. If you want to save and retrieve ALL your files, first save a copy of your data.mdb file to a secure location. Uninstall the prior version, then install the new version. Find your secure copy of the saved data.mdb file, and insert[cory]  it into D:\Program Files\J&J USE3 C2 Plus\Physiolab for I-330 C2.
