Single-wire cables [2] are only for a 4 channel EEG hookup for the C2+ 12 only.
When detecting 4 EEG channels, Channel A has a 3-lead cable, for site1, left ear negative, and a system ground. Channel B is attached to site B with the positive lead, and the opposite ear with the negative. This links the two ears. Channel C needs only one lead, a positive attached at site C. Similarly Channel D is attached at Site D. Sites A, B, C, and D all share the linked-ear negatives. All Channels share the common ground through an internal wire inside the C2 plus box front end.
